HOW TO UP YOUR STYLE GAME – WITH EARRINGS!

Earrings are such a great way to add life to your wardrobe – they can perk up your face on a bad day and bring a neutral bland outfit to life.

There are so many styles out there so how do you decide what to choose? You can obviously look to fashion trends. Thanks to the many cool designers out there right now, there are loads of different fab styles to choose from.

THE PERFECT EARRINGS FOR YOU

While there are many earrings almost everyone can wear with ease - check out our handy tips if you feel certain shapes don’t suit you to help you understand why.

EARRINGS FOR ROUND FACES

Round faces should steer clear of round shapes as, you’ve guessed it, it adds to the roundness. Miranda Kerr has this face shape and a drop earring will elongate the face and flatter a round face shape.

EARRINGS FOR HEART SHAPED FACES

If you have a wide forehead and a narrow chin i.e. a heart shaped face like Reece Witherspoon. It helps to have a long earring that is wider at the bottom and can ‘fill in’ the bottom half of the face and create balance.

EARRINGS FOR LONG FACES

Long narrow faces look beautiful with larger studs and clusters to widen the face and make it look fuller. Think Sarah Jessica Parker and Liv Tyler

EARRINGS FOR OVAL FACES

Oval face shapes can wear almost any earring – sometimes that you have to bear in bear in mind the size of the person.  Small little drops can look a little insignificant on larger frames.  Small petite girls can certainly rock large earrings as it depends on personality too!  Your colouring can be a factor when choosing really bright fashion pieces.

Hope this helps and remember that rules are meant to be broken so don’t ever be afraid to experiment. And, anyway, the girls at Jasmine are always on hand to help you with your decision.
